Intelligence is the Rate of Learning: Uncovering Blindspots Plus AI Fitness Models Making Over $10k Per Month on Instagram
“Intelligence is the rate of learning: uncovering your blindspots
Do you consider yourself an intelligent person? A success principle taught by Alex Hormozi uncovered some rather disconcerting blindspots in areas of where we like to consider ourselves intelligent with one single statement: “Intelligence is the rate of learning.”
Here’s an easily visualized example paraphrased from Alex below:
If I showed you a red card and then slapped you, you’d probably be wondering what just happened! Let’s say I don’t say anything, but I show you a red card and then I slap you again! You’d probably be a little less taken aback but still alarmed! Let’s say I don’t say anything again, but I show you a red card… you’d probably duck!
Same condition, but new behavior!
If it took someone ten times of seeing the red card before they ducked, and another person the second time for them to duck, the second person is smarter and more intelligent than the person who took ten times to duck.
A lot of us think we are really smart, but we go back home to the same condition and do the exact same thing. Same condition, same behavior. So, how smart are we really? 😂
The good news is, defining it this way actually puts intelligence under our control!
If we leave somewhere (having learned a new principle), but our behavior doesn’t change under the same conditions, it means we’ve learned nothing.
So good! And not gonna’ lie, it is a great reality check!
AI fitness models making $10k+ per month on Instagram…
We recently came across an Instagram post by Codie Sanchez. If you don’t know her, she is a no nonsense business investor for “industry outsiders.”
She shed a little light on a topic that blows our minds, and no doubt will continue to do just that over and over again in the very near future.
In her post, she showed a fitness model on Instagram named Emily Pelligrini. The catch? She isn’t human at all, but an AI generated model. Emily, along with many other AI Instagram accounts, are raking in over $10k per month!
You can check out Codie’s post right here and see Emily for yourself!
Energy is how we win the game
This week our I Do Epic ELITE group had the amazing opportunity to hear from Tiffany Peterson. Tiffany Peterson started her business career selling for companies such as Franklin Covey, Rich Dad Poor Dad, and Jack Canfield, setting new sales records and receiving prestigious awards.
She realized, however, that she had the true heart of a teacher and changed career paths to becoming a speaker, business, and life coach.
She blew all of our minds and hearts… and we wanted to share just a paraphrased snippet of what she taught with you.
Tiffany started by asking everyone to tune into their energy levels and to write down what they needed right then, in that moment. Some answered sleep, some answered water, rest, or quiet. If you tune into yours, what do you need right now?
The reason this is so important is because energy is how we win the game.
Think about it: the reality is that we spend a good portion of our day making a living. We get home and we think we don’t have enough time to write a book or learn a new skill. Don’t have time for a hobby or something we want to do…
But is it really about time or is it really about energy?
The true question isn’t about time at all. It’s about energy: do you have enough energy to achieve your goals? Everyone reading this newsletter is in different industries and in different timelines of their lives… but we all have one thing in common: we all need energy!
We need energy to achieve goals and do things in our lives that we desire to do!
So, how do we get more energy?
We take a deep look at self-care in terms of four quadrants: body, mind, heart, and spirit.
What truly nourishes you and restocks your energy reserves? Can you commit to doing one thing in each of the four quadrants for the next 7 days?
Examples are:
Mind/mindset: journaling, gratitude journal, meditation, and so on.
Body: taking a walk, sleep, nutrition, hydration, movement
Heart: how happy are you? Where would you rate that? What can you do to bring you more joy?
Spirit: whatever this means to you, but it tends to be some kind of connection with a higher power.
So – the big question for you this week: what habit or habits do you want to commit to or recommit to that are energy givers for you so you can fully live the life you choose?

Quick Bullet Updates of What We’re Up To:
• Sunny made it back from Disney World in one piece, having walked at least 10 miles per day for 5 days! The girls had an amazing time and are currently experiencing the “Disney Blues” now that they’re back home in an Idaho winter. The parks were much, much busier than expected, but the weather was amazing and the company was epic!
• Meanwhile, in other big and exciting news, Xander is the proud owner of a pro 1962 Mark VI Saxophone! His saxophone is actually made out of French artillery! He was in tears he was so excited and has been playing that thing like crazy. He even had the opportunity to go and play with some legitimate jazz musicians at a downtown restaurant. They were so good to him – they made him feel like an absolute rockstar. We look forward to hearing him play it at his upcoming band concerts and a jazz festival at the end of the month.
• The Tesla is back in action! Bart grabbed a ride with a friend of a friend to head to Utah to pick it up and bring it home. We’ll be grateful to have him – and the Tesla – home in one piece! Side note: that is why our podcast episode is releasing a little later than normal!
• And perhaps the most exciting at all… our 29th wedding anniversary is on February 10th! Ohhhhhh man! We’re not sure how that is even possible since we are both still in our 30s, but the calendar is telling us it doesn’t lie! So grateful we have each other and will continue the exciting journey of life with together!
